Daniel Hencher graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, England with a degree in Product Design and Technology and attained his Masters from North Carolina State University in Curriculum and Instruction.  Since 2015, Daniel has worked at The Exploris School and partnered with students and staff alike to use Project Based Learning and Service Learning in a school environment.  Daniel enjoys using service learning in his classroom because of its power to engage educators and students in the curriculum, to make learning real, and also because it helps students make an impact in their community and the wider world.  He joined the NCSLC Executive Board to help ensure the mission to promote, support, advance, and sustain high-quality service-learning across North Carolina is attained.
